When it comes to selecting the ideal Barnes TTSX bullet weight for your 308 Winchester rifle, two primary factors come into play: energy and trajectory. After careful analysis, I've opted for the 150-grain TTSX over the 168-grain variant.

Energy and Trajectory Comparison

Thorough testing revealed that the 150-grain TTSX offers greater energy and less bullet drop than its 168-grain counterpart at distances up to 400 yards. Its Barnes TTSX 150 gr projectile, propelled at 2790 feet per second from a 308 Winchester case, exhibits superior energy retention over the 168-grain bullet, resulting in increased impact power and lethality.
